Rohit is a Nonresident Fellow at the Brookings Institution. He serves on the school board of the Environmental Charter School, the largest charter school network in Pittsburgh, and is a board member of New Sun Rising, a community development nonprofit.

He previously worked as the co-founder and chief data scientist of First Access, as a consultant at Oliver Wyman, and in portfolio management at Bridgewater Associates. He holds a B.A. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Rhett is a Nonresident Fellow at the Brookings Institution, a Senior Fellow at the Center for American Entrepreneurship, and acts as an advisor to financial inclusion and mental health organizations.

He previously worked as the head of the research team at Endeavor Insight, a consultant at Bain & Company, and the confidential assistant to the mayor of Baton Rouge. He holds a B.A. in History from Louisiana State University and an M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
